Sengkang Community Clubs: Anchorvale, Rivervale, Fernvale & Sengkang CC
Sengkang has four onePA community clubs of its own, from the CC in the town-centre hub to two newer buildings that opened in 2022. Here is where each one is and how to book courts and classes.
If you are looking for a Sengkang community club, there are four in the town itself: Sengkang CC in the town-centre hub at Sengkang Square, Anchorvale CC beside the sports centre, and two newer stand-alone clubs, Rivervale CC and Fernvale CC, both opened in 2022. A fifth, Buangkok CC, sits just south in Sengkang Grand Mall. All are run by the People’s Association, and courses, courts and BBQ pits are booked on onePA. The counters at all four Sengkang clubs open from 10am to 6pm, according to onePA.
CCs are the cheapest way in Sengkang to learn a skill, join a hobby group or book a badminton court, and they are where residents’ committees, grassroots events and festive celebrations are organised.

Sengkang Community Club

The town-centre CC is on the ground floor of the Sengkang Community Hub, a civic building completed in 2004 that also holds SingHealth’s Sengkang Polyclinic, a neighbourhood police centre and a post office. It is the most central CC in town, a short walk from Sengkang MRT, the bus interchange and Compass One, and onePA lists more than a dozen bus services stopping outside. Badminton courts are its main bookable facility. Sengkang CC also looks after the residents’ committees of Compassvale, which has no CC of its own.

Anchorvale CC shares a riverside site with Sengkang Sports Centre, which makes it the sportiest of the four. onePA lists badminton courts, a basketball court, a futsal court and a BBQ pit, and the club runs classes and interest groups alongside. The swimming pool and gym next door are ActiveSG facilities, booked separately. The floating wetland links the site to Sengkang Riverside Park, and Farmway LRT station is the closest stop.
Rivervale Community Club

For years Rivervale CC worked out of a void deck at Block 193. Plans for a stand-alone club were announced in 2016, and the new building was officially opened by then Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on 30 July 2022. It is much bigger than the old space, with a culinary studio for cooking classes, a preschool, fitness programmes and a co-working space for residents who work from home. Fernvale Community Club

Fernvale CC opened on 25 September 2022 in a combined building with Fernvale Hawker Centre and Market, across the road from The Seletar Mall and beside Fernvale LRT. At its opening, the club’s facilities included a 24-hour gym, a café, a jogging track, badminton courts, a childcare centre, a playground and activity rooms, with courses from cooking to coding. Buangkok CC, just south
Buangkok CC is at 70 Compassvale Bow, #01-25, inside the Sengkang Grand Mall development by Buangkok MRT, with a hawker centre and bus interchange in the same complex. It is often the most convenient club for residents on the southern edge of Compassvale. Phone 6830 2340. Our Buangkok guide has more on the area.
How to book courts, BBQ pits and courses
- Log in: go to onePA’s facilities page and sign in with Singpass. You will be asked to create a onePA account the first time.
- Search: choose the facility type, such as badminton courts or BBQ pits, then the CC, date and time.
- Timing: courts can be booked 15 days ahead, and the next day’s slots are released at 10pm each night. Each payer can book up to two one-hour slots a day.
- Pay: by debit or credit card online.
- Before you confirm: onePA does not allow cancellations or refunds once a booking is confirmed, so double-check the CC and date.
Popular evening and weekend badminton slots go within minutes of the 10pm release. Log in a few minutes early, with your card details ready, on the night the slot you want becomes available.
Courses and interest groups are also listed on each CC’s onePA page. If a club’s page shows nothing coming up, call the counter to ask what is planned.
Beyond bookings

No. onePA does not list a Compassvale CC. Compassvale’s residents’ committees are served by Sengkang CC at Sengkang Square.
